“Hey! I’m Charlie, a dedicated and hands-on dad of two, who’s deeply passionate about helping others find balance in the chaos. I know first-hand how tough it can be to prioritise your wellbeing when life is pulling you in a million directions. With a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old, I’ve learned that wellness doesn’t have to be perfect - it just needs to work for you. I’ve been in the health and wellness space for over 16 years, focusing on helping people improve their mindset, nutrition and overall wellbeing in a way that fits their life - not the other way around. Through my own experiences, I’ve found that sustainable health comes from small, consistent changes and it’s all about taking it one step at a time. When Nicki and I joined forces to create Good Enough, we both saw the opportunity to provide a community-focused wellness event that caters specifically to parents like us. Together, we bring real-world experience, practical tips and support to help you feel confident and energised without the overwhelm. I’m excited to work with you and help you achieve wellness your way - on your terms!”
“Hey! Nice to meet you! I’m Nicki, a proud Londoner and mum to 3 girls, aged 19, 8 and 5. I have been immersed in the health & fitness world since 1996, when I got a job at an American fitness centre in Hong Kong. I’ve enjoyed a 16 year career at Microsoft, with much of that time spent as a single mum to my eldest. I understand the juggle and time constraints. I’ve experienced the requirement to make time, not find time, for my wellbeing. Now, I’m knee-deep in peri-menopause and an HRT warrior - no shame here! I run a women’s personal training business and online strength & fitness platform, delivering live classes at 6.30am every week day. I’m also a qualified Corporate Wellness Coach. Making people happier and healthier is my passion. When Charlie approached me about working together to build Cheltenham’s first parent-focused wellbeing event in Cheltenham, it was an absolute no-brainer. I am confident that what we have built together, combined with our varying experiences and strengths, will tick all the boxes for mums and dads and benefit everyone around them. I can’t wait to work with you!”
Charlie and Nicki, both parents and Wellness Coaches, first connected through their children's school and discovered a shared ethos and values in wellness. They both emphasise well-being over aesthetics, viewing physical appearance as a by-product of a healthy life. They‘ve both been on the playground and listened to the struggles of those around them, knowing they could help but understanding that making a difference to someone’s life requires more than an informal chat on the school run. They are passionate about the fact that improved wellbeing equals improved relationships. Water yourself but watch your relationships flourish too. Their individual journeys to this point combined with their passion to lighten the load and improve the lives of parents everywhere, are what makes them a formidable team and the perfect pairing for Team Good Enough.
"Good Enough" is a phrase that resonates with so many people. It captures the everyday struggle of balancing work, family and self-care in a way that feels authentic and accessible.
In a world that constantly pushes us to exceed expectations and always have our shit together, "Good Enough" offers a refreshing reminder that it's ok to strive for balance rather than perfection.
Life is messy and unpredictable, and sometimes just getting through the day is an achievement in itself. "Good Enough" encourages embracing our imperfections and celebrating small victories.
A space where parents can feel understood and validated. It's a space where everyone can come as they are, without judgment, and work towards feeling better and more confident together.
